Transworld is holding their yearly “Skate & Create” contest again. This year the Adidas team was invited to go out to Carlsbad and put forth their spin on the contest, so Jake flew out with the rest of the adidas team and they put together this awesome clip!
Any old Buffalo head will remember the Ghettoburd video, which my friend Jason Stankiewicz filmed and edited, not too mention the 1st Sunday video, as well as having footage in ViceVersa. Well Jay has a real eye for the aesthetic, and he has been going out on skate missions to shoot photos lately. Below are just a few things he’s shot recently. Spring is in full effect, which of course means I’ve been slacking on the updates here due to filming and such. Anyways since we began filming for the new full-length video, Kevin has amassed so much footage that slowly chiseling away at it in web montages, etc simply wasn’t putting a dent in it, so I dusted off the old editing machine and put together this quick edit of stuff that won’t be used in Kevin’s video part. Speaking of the video, I want to assure you we’re working on it! Riders have been plagued with injuries, while the ones that aren’t hurt are killing it so expect an update with more news about the video very very soon. For now enjoy this little clip and get out and skate!!!

Check out Jake & the rest of the Real team killing it in the new Arizona edition of “Lost Days & Throwaways”. Jake & Tony are on a cross country trip now that started down in Florida and ended back in S.F. only to hop on a Thunder trip with Sean Malto and Mikey Taylor to Kansas City, and as fate would have it, get side tracked and wind up going to the Transworld “Skate & Create” event with the Adidas team. Who knows where they’ll turn up next, but nonetheless we miss ‘em and hope they’re having a great time!

Well, it seems as though spring is in full effect. While most of us are dreading shaking off the rust brought on by the winter snow, it looks like Kiefer and Julius have no problems re-adjusting. Enjoy!
